The Piper PA-31T Cheyenne II is a pressurised twin-engine aircraft manufactured by Piper Aircraft. Designed primarily for executive and passenger transport, it can also support specialist airborne operations requiring speed, range and a pressurised cabin.
The aircraft is powered by two Pratt & Whitney PT6A-28 turboprop engines, each producing approximately 462 kW. Its twin-engine configuration provides an optimal cruise speed of approximately 452 km/h and a maximum range of approximately 2,148 km.
With a maximum take-off weight of 4,082 kg, an empty weight of approximately 2,209 kg and a listed payload capacity of approximately 1,873 kg, the Cheyenne II provides a capable platform for passenger, executive and configurable specialist operations. It can accommodate six to eight passengers in addition to two crew members and has a service ceiling of approximately 8,839 metres.
